The Race
Smooth, fast, scenic, and flat with a wide shoulder on much of the roads. Course is open to traffic. Riders must ride as far to the right as possible to allow traffic to pass. Course is located in Church Creek, MD, and is a 40km loop. 20 KM turnaround is marshaled by police and civilians. 40 km riders: each major intersection is marshaled by police/civilians. All riders: Please use extreme caution and be prepared to stop if you are required to do so. NO SLEEVELESS JERSEYS ALLOWED, as per USCF regs.
Start is at the Church Creek Fire Co: 1902 Church Creek Rd, Church Creek, MD 21622.
The fastest individual man and the fastest individual woman will receive a $100 prize, regardless of category!**
Start Time
First rider(s) off at 8am, all other fields to follow at the intervals stated below. Start lists will be posted on 22 June. Start time is dependent upon registrations and will be assigned and posted after registration closes. Categories will start in order listed above. For racers who wish to do 2 or more races, we will make every attempt to ensure that your start times allow you to do both races, but we cannot guarantee it. ITT riders go off in 30 second increments, 2-TTT teams go off in 1 minute increments, 4-TTT teams go off in 2 minute increments. Do not miss your start – you will not get a second start! Teams will be scored on the leading wheel of the 2nd rider for 2-TTT/3-TTT and the 3rd rider for 4-TTT. The scoring rider must finish for the team to be placed.
Parking
Parking is at Cambridge/So. Dorchester High School. Riders must ride to the start/finish area from the school. No parking is allowed at the start/finish. The school's address is: 2475 Cambridge Bypass Cambridge, MD 21613. Locker facilities will be available for use inside the school during the race.
Registration
Online registration at www.bikereg.com. Online registration closes June 21, 2007. No mail-in or day-of registration, entry-swapping or refunds. No reduced costs on additional races. Registration is located at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School, approx. four miles from the start/finish areas. Registration opens at 6:45 am. Results will be posted at the fire house near the start area.

** Cat 5 riders not eligible for prize, per USCF rules. Prize is determined based on average speed.
In the event of a tie, the fastest time wins. 20k rider times will be doubled in the event of
a tie.
