Tour of Washington County - June 19/20 2010

Overall consensus would be that this weekend was HOT, HOT, HOT!! Regardless this is a great race. Saturday showcased a first time prologue for the Senior Men 1,2,3 field at 8 am followed by the road race for all categories for both men and women in Smithsburg. The extreme heat in the afternoon forced the officials to shortened several of the races. Sunday featured a 19km TT on rolling terrain in Boonsboro and then a crit in Williamsport. ABRT had a descent showing and had several top 5 finishes throughout the series of races. For those who have never raced a stage race this is an excellent opportunity to do 3 races in two days - it is a lot fun and the courses are great and the racing well run!
